Is there an elevator?
The apartments are located on the first floor. There is no elevator.
What is the BrixenCard?
The BrixenCard (South Tyrol Guest Pass) is your free guest card with free public transport throughout South Tyrol, one free ascent and descent on the Plose (in summer), and admission/discounts in Brixen (e.g., Acquarena, museums). It is only available from partner establishments.
How much does the BrixenCard cost?
Nothing. The card is not available for purchase; you receive it free of charge as a guest of a partner establishment.
How and when do I receive it?
You will receive the card upon arrival (digitally via email). Each person in your travel group will receive a personalized card. Valid from the day of arrival until the day of departure.
Which modes of transportation are included?
Free use of the entire South Tyrol network:
• Regional trains in South Tyrol to Trento
• All city and intercity buses
• Cable cars: Renon, San Genesio, Meltina, Verano, Colle
• Renon narrow-gauge railway & Mendola funicular railway
• PostBus Switzerland: Malles ↔ Müstair (1 return trip)
Important: Validate your ticket before each trip.
Are the Plose cable cars included?
With the BrixenCard, 1 ascent + 1 descent per day is included on one of the Plose lift facilities (Plose cable car / Pfannspitz cable car / Palmschoß chairlift) only during the following periods: from 23/05 to 10/07 and from 05/09 to 01/11. It is not included during the peak summer season or in winter.
Acquarena: What is included?
Daily admission (3 hours) Monday–Saturday, except Sundays and public holidays. A discount applies to the sauna area (also not on Sundays/public holidays). (Opening hours/rules according to the operator.)
Which museums are included?
One admission per stay: Hofburg, Pharmacy Museum, and Neustift Monastery.
Is the ticket digital?
Yes. The ticket is issued digitally and sent by email; it is personalized.
Are direct bookings cheaper?
Yes, we usually offer the best price for direct bookings (no platform fees).
How can I find out prices and availability?
Our prices are adjusted dynamically. You can see the current total price and availability on the “Book” page.
Is there a minimum stay?
Outside the high season, a minimum stay of 2 nights applies.
Dates too far in advance: How can I find out availability and prices?
For periods that are not yet available in the booking calendar, please send us a quick message (email or phone). We will check availability and be happy to provide you with a non-binding quote.
Are there any additional costs?
No, apart from the local tax, there are no additional costs.

Is a deposit required?
Yes. 50% deposit of the total price.
When is cancellation free of charge?
Up to 7 days before arrival (11:59 p.m., local time) free of charge. We will refund the deposit in full.
From 7 days before arrival/no-show: 50% of the total price (deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee).
When is the remaining payment due?
Upon check-in.
What payment methods are available?
50% deposit: credit card or PayPal; 50% balance: credit card, PayPal, cash, or bank transfer.
When is check-in and when is check-out?
Check-in from 3:00 p.m., check-out by 11:00 a.m.
Is early check-in and late check-out possible?
Upon request and if possible, we are happy to accommodate your needs.
Is self-check-in possible?
Self-check-in via a key box is no problem upon request and is also possible late at night.
Can we park our car or leave our luggage before or after our stay?
That’s no problem, please contact us.
Is the kitchen equipped?
Yes. There is an induction stove with matching pots and pans, a microwave, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, and of course plates, cutlery, etc.
Is breakfast provided?
We do not offer breakfast, but the apartments have a kitchen where you can prepare your own.
Is there air conditioning?
No. In summer, there is a portable fan in every room. In Brixen, the temperature at night is usually below 20 degrees Celsius. During the day, we recommend closing the windows and darkening the rooms to keep the apartment relatively cool even on very hot days.
Is there a washing machine?
Yes, each apartment has its own washing machine.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Children aged 1–12 stay free of charge. Please do not list children under the age of 12 as guests when making your final booking, otherwise they will be counted as paying guests. Please let us know the number and ages of your children in the message window. Of course, you will also need to include a bed for the children.
Are baby cots/high chairs available?
On request and subject to availability, we are happy to provide these.
Are pets allowed?
Well-behaved pets are allowed, but we ask that you do not let them on the beds. There is no charge for this.
Is there parking available?
Yes, one parking space per apartment is included. There is space for additional vehicles or vehicles with trailers in the immediate vicinity.
Do you have space for bicycles?
Bicycles can be stored outdoors under a roof. Alternatively, you can carry them up one flight of stairs to the apartments, where there is ample space on the balconies and terrace.
How far is it to Brixen?
Approximately 2 km. It is a very pleasant 25-minute walk along the river to the old town.
Public transport/bus?
There are various bus connections nearby to Brixen, the train station, or the bus station.
What about the local tax (tourist tax)?
The local tax payable to the municipality of Vahrn is €2.80 per person per night. Children under the age of 14 are exempt. It is not included in the price quoted at the time of booking. It is only payable on site.
